The official Veterans Day Program for the state of Minnesota will be held Sunday in Inver Grove Heights.
The Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs announced the event will be held at the Veterans Memorial Community Center. The gathering is open to any community members who wish to celebrate and honor veterans.
The celebration will focus on the 100th anniversary of the armistice that ended World War I.
The program will conclude with the nation-wide Tolling of the Bell at 11 a.m.

Hastings: Veterans Home Veterans Day celebration. 2 p.m. flag ceremony and presentations by speakers WWII OSS Hero and Congressional Medal recipient Robert Holmstrom and VFW National Surgeon Dr. James Tuorila. Hastings Veterans Home, 1200 18th St. E.
Lake St. Croix Beach: Lower St. Croix Valley Veteran’s Day memorial unveiling. 2:30 p.m. newly renovated Lower St. Croix Valley Veterans Memorial Park will unveil new Battlefield Cross Statue with a Color Guard, bugle player and a 21-gun salute. American Legion Post, Stillwater: Downtown Stillwater 100th Veterans Day program. 11 a.m. with welcome by Commander Craig Fritsche at 10:50 a.m., “The History of Armistice Day” by past American Legion Commander John Rheinberger at 10:52 a.m. and military honors with Captain of the Honor Guard Jim Wright at 10:58 a.m. Coffee and cake will follow at the American Legion Post, 103 S. Third Street.
Bloomington: Ultimate Chef Challenge, Mall of America chefs will be paired with military personnel in a cooking competition. Winning team takes home more than $1.5K. 12 to 6 p.m. Rotunda, Mall of America,

House of Hope, St. Paul: The House of Hope Presbyterian Church Veterans Day celebration. 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. with Poems, Prayers and Pipes at 6 a.m. featuring pipers all around the world, worship at 10 a.m. and Carillon Rings to memorialize the 100th anniversary of Veterans Day at 11 a.m. House of Hope, 797 Summit Ave.
Inver Grove Heights: Official State of Minnesota Veterans Day Program. 10 a.m. celebration with veterans, families, elected officials and community members. 11 a.m. nationwide Tolling of the Bell in remembrance of all veterans.
Landmark Center, St. Paul: Veterans Day celebration of 100th anniversary of the WWI Armistice from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Ringing of Armistice Bells of Peace in the F.K. Weyerhaeuser Auditorium at 11 a.m., storytelling, music, spoken word and prayers for peace from 12 to 2 p.m. featuring Muslim, Christian, Native American and Jewish prayers. Northrop Plaza, Minneapolis: The Oratorio Society of Minnesota’s Veterans Day performance of composer Patrick Hawes’ “The Great War Symphony.” 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Bells of Peace ceremony in Northrop Plaza, free and open to the public. 4 p.m. WWI mural and artifacts and Veteran’s Day concert on Northrop’s Carlson Family Stage. Concert will also feature University of Minnesota School of Music Men’s and Women’s Chorus, soloists Jennifer Olson and Nicholas Chalmers, University of Minnesota Orchestra and Wind Ensemble and Northrop’s newly restored pipe organ.
